Stow St Mary of Wedale and Heriot Church is part of the Church of Scotland. Registered Scottish Charity Number SCO00228.

News and forthcoming events:

UNITARY CONSTITUTION:

At our annual congregational meeting on Sunday 26 March 2017, the congregation voted to move from the Model Deed of Constitution (with a Congregational Board and Kirk Session) to a Unitary Constitution (with the Kirk Session responsible for all the affairs of the church, overseeing various teams involving elders and others).  The Kirk Session will meet over the summer to consider further the new constitution and begin setting up teams.  In the meantime, thank you to all our Board Members whose service over many years has been invaluable.

GALASHIELS AREA FOOD BANK:

Boxes are available in each church for any donations of non-perishable food items.  Thank you.

BORDERS HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2017:

We will be taking part, with Heriot Church open for visitors on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September, and Stow Church on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September.  If you can help on these days, please let Shona Owens know.
